OTTO-Agri provides weather and soil information. The unit has 11 sensors that are installed in a weather-proof casing. It is placed at selected spots within a field. Live data is acquired and sent to a cloud based platform. Information includes: dew point, gust, Humidity, atmospheric pressure, 2 types of soil moisture, solar radiation, temperature, UV radiation, wind speed and pH measures.
Linked Things has completed the first step of acquiring data for its client Weather Wise. Interpretation of the data is our next focus, where we are working with farmers to build local wisdom and with academics to build intelligence on our platform.
